Fast File Uploads and Downloads
Working with the File Manager feels like working with your desktop PC. The in-built drag-and-drop functionality will permit you to effortlessly transfer files between your computer and the web server. Just select the file that you wish to upload from your desktop PC and then drag it into your browser. The same applies to downloading a file from the File Manager to your desktop. What's more, you can download files and even folders to your computer by pressing the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager, you can create a brand new file or folder with only one single mouse click. All action buttons are conveniently positioned above the file/folder list and you can modify your files easily. You can rename or copy a file, move a file to a different folder, examine the contents of a file or update its permissions, erase a file, etc.
Handy Archive/Unarchive Functionality
With the File Manager interface, you will be able to pack and unpack all types of files. It does work amazingly fast - simply select the files you wish to make a zipped archive of and push the Compress button. You can even select the archive format (.rar, .zip, and so on). It is just as easy to extract the contents of an archive to a selected directory.
File Editors
With the File Manager, you really do not need any external software tools to update your files. There is an image viewer, which allows you to explore the contents of your image files to get an idea of how the images will actually show up on the web. Besides, you will find an array of built-in file editors, which will give you total control over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are designed for more advanced users, while the WYSIWYG editor (where you can see all HTML source code changes in real time) is also suitable for technically inexperienced individuals.
